In May of 2000, Deerwood RV Park was completed and opened to a chorus of gratitude and praise from longtime RVers. With local manufacturers like Monaco, Country Coach and Safari, the community needed a facility designed with the “Big Rigs” in mind. Deerwood was designed around the existing trees and ponds so the sites are spacious and unique. They all vary in size and setting for everything from 30’ 5th wheels to 45’ Class A Motor Homes. All the sites are paved and level and surrounded by lawns and landscaping. Most of the sites are truly “Big Rig” ready measuring over 65’ long and 35’ wide with lots of room for slide-outs, awnings and tow vehicles. Deerwood is a favorite stop for RV owners coming from around the US to visit the local factories just minutes away. The utilities are modern and accessible and include satellite TV, imaculate restrooms & laundry, and wireless internet. Peaceful is a word commonly used to describe Deerwood RV Park, which is close to town, but secluded without freeway noise. No trains or planes either. Frogs and owls are the loudest things you’ll hear all night at Deerwood. Those of you with four legged passengers are more than welcome and we do offer seasonal rates to adults.
